Hands-on Training for Operators and Users

Operating your pneumatic chute system is easy when you have trained operators and users.

For maintenance personnel:

System operation, control, maintenance and trouble shooting

This refresher course is geared for the maintenance department personnel who are directly responsible for the daily operation of the system.  Topics covered include principles of operation, system operating logic, processor functions, control panel layout and nomenclature, air speed measurement and calibration, and basic troubleshooting.

Upon completion, the trained operator will be able to independently monitor the system's functions, fine-tune operation and troubleshoot problems.

System and component routine and preventive maintenance

Covering every component of a pneumatic trash and/or linen collection system, the course explains the details of routine and preventive maintenance:  ventilators, isolation and air valves, inner gates, intake stations, discharge valves, flow meters and monitoring system.  Training directly reduces operating and maintenance costs of older and new systems.

Upon completion, the operator will be able to cost-effectively maintain all components, extending service life and increase efficiency.

For housekeeping personnel:

Daily use techniques for maximum efficiency and safety

This short, user-friendly course familiarizes housekeeping staff and other users with the best, fastest and safest way to use the automatic trash and/or linen collection system, saving worker time and system downtime.  The course includes a rigorous list of DO's and DON'Ts to make the system perform at its top efficiency.  This course should be a standard program for new hires for the housekeepers on the hospital floor.
